Skin Cancer Checks & Removal

Why Regular Skin Checks Matter in Western Australia

Western Australia has some of the highest rates of UV radiation in the world. With 2 in 3 Australians diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime, early detection is more than a precaution—it is a life-saving habit. At Jupiter Health Warnbro, we provide a comprehensive approach to monitoring, detecting, and treating skin cancers under one roof.

Our Skin Cancer Services

Jupiter Warnbro Approach

Our experienced doctors, including specialists like Dr Moayad Al Kaptan (Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor), offer thorough assessments using advanced dermoscopy to identify suspicious lesions that are often invisible to the naked eye.

  • Comprehensive Skin Checks: A head-to-toe examination of moles, freckles, and spots.

  • Melanoma Screening: Focused tracking of high-risk lesions to catch changes early.

  • In-Clinic Biopsies: Rapid sampling of suspicious spots for pathology testing.

  • Skin Cancer Removal: Surgical excision of Basal Cell Carcinomas (BCC), Squamous Cell Carcinomas (SCC), and Melanomas performed onsite in our sterile procedure room.

  • Post-Surgical Care: Wound management and follow-up to ensure optimal healing and minimal scarring.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

A standard skin check takes approximately 15–20 minutes. Please ensure you remove any makeup, nail polish, or fake tan prior to your appointment, as these can obscure suspicious spots. You will be asked to undress to your underwear to allow for a full-body assessment.
