Appointments & Clinical Care
Booking an Appointment
To schedule a consultation, please book online through our portal or call our reception team. To ensure we provide the care you deserve, please notify the receptionist if you require a longer appointment (e.g., for complex issues, mental health plans, or multiple concerns). We prioritise urgent medical matters and will ensure they are dealt with promptly.
Walk in Patients
While we accept walk in patients, please be aware that those with scheduled appointments are seen first. As a result, walk ins may experience extended waiting periods. Upon arrival, our team will provide you with an estimated wait time. To minimize your wait, we strongly recommend booking an appointment in advance.
Home Visits & Telehealth
We are dedicated to supporting our regular patients who are unable to travel to the clinic.
Home Visits: Available at the GP’s discretion for local patients under specific circumstances.
Telehealth: We offer phone or video consultations for patients who meet the necessary clinical and Medicare criteria.

Preparation for Your Appointment
To ensure your consultation runs smoothly, please review the following requirements prior to your visit:
Documentation
Please obtain and forward any relevant health or discharge summaries and your current medication list to our clinic before your arrival.
Arrival Time
New Patients: Please arrive 15 minutes early to finalise your registration.
Existing Patients: Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time.
What to Bring
While we may collect some details over the phone, you will still need to complete formal paperwork upon arrival. Please remember to bring your:
Medicare Card
Health Care Card or Concession Card (if applicable)
Photo ID
Fees and Rebates
At Jupiter Health Warnbro, we are committed to providing high quality care. To maintain this standard, we operate as a mixed billing practice.
Bulk Billing Eligibility
We continue to bulk bill patients who hold a valid Medicare card for all Medicare eligible services. All other patients will be privately billed at the time of consultation.
Consultation Fees
For patients who do not meet bulk billing criteria, our standard private fees are as follows:
Standard Consultation: $80.00 (Medicare Rebate: $43.90)
Long Consultation: $135.00 (Medicare Rebate: $82.90)
Please note: All private fees for non Medicare cardholders are time based at a rate of $80 per 10 minutes (plus GST).
Procedures and Dressings
There may be additional costs for consumables used during surgical procedures or wound dressings. We encourage you to speak with your doctor or nurse prior to your procedure to discuss any potential out of pocket expenses.
Cancellation & "Did Not Attend" (DNA) Policy
We understand that plans change; however, we require prior notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. Failure to attend or provide adequate notice for cancellation will result in the following charges:
Standard Appointment: $60.00
Long Consultation: $120.00
Please Note: Fees for Allied Health services differ from general GP consultations. Please enquire with our reception staff for specific pricing regarding these services.
